Ted: If you are blowing off the H/E end caps, you have a restriction in the risers, extensions or H/E that is building up water pressure due to the fact that raw water is being pumped in faster than it can be expelled. I had the same problem and tried the same fix of replacing the end caps and adding silicone and larger clamps. When it happened again, I started looking and found the risers partially blocked. I suggest you have the risers, extensions and H/E examined for blockage.
